
MIDDLE BORDER LECTURE SERIES
The Dakota Discovery Museum is pleased to announce the introduction of the new Middle Border Lecture Series program. The Lecture Series will be presented every other month and will feature speakers on topics pertaining to the history, art and culture of the Middle Border region.

Aurelia: A Crow Creek Trilogy
Elizabeth Cook-Lynn, a member of the Crow Creek Sioux tribe, author and educator will present readings from three novella in Aurelia. The writings tell of the invasion of Indian lands, the destruction of the Missouri River, and the grief and joy of an American Indain family.
The program is free to the public and will be held at the Dakota Discovery Museum, 1300 McGovern Ave, Mitchell. This program is made possible in part by the South Dakota Humanities Council, an affiliate of the National Endowment for the Humanities.
